The Middle East is a region where cars and truck is king and fuel is cheap, typically leaving little incentive to discover more environmentally-friendly methods of walking around.

But this year, as demonstrations across the Middle East have risen the rate of oil, the problem of finding alternative sources of fuel has entered sharp focus.

In an area that has one of the highest carbon footprints in the world, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's established the Middle East's first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving rewarding too, currently their client-list contains McDonald's.
