Recruitment/ Retention Supplement.
For Full and Part-Time Instructional Employees.
Starting in the 2025-2026 School Year!
Beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year, routine complete time and part time educational employees will get a yearly income supplement of no less than $4,500.00, in accordance with set forth in the SJEA Memorandum of Understanding.
The funds reserved for the educational unit shall be paid to workers within the instructional bargaining system in referendum supplements as follows:
- Years 0-5: $4,500 (Flat Rate).
- Years 6-10: $5,172.00.
- Years 11-15: $6,206.00.
- Years: 16-20: $7,241.00.
- Years 21+: $8,275.00.
Regular full-time employees as specified by Article 1 (E) will receive the full worked out quantity.
- Regular part-time staff members will receive half of the full-time worker quantity.
- Employees holding "Part Time As Needed" positions are not qualified for this supplement.
- The salary supplement will be paid in installations within the staff member's frequently scheduled income throughout the list below academic year: 2025-2026, 2026-2027, 2027-2028, 2028-2029.

Beginning with the 2025-26 academic year, regular full-time and part-time Administrative, Managerial & Confidential staff members will receive a yearly salary supplement as follows:
- Full-Time: $6,000 (Flat Rate).
- Part-Time: $3,000 (Flat Rate).
Supplement stipulations consist of the following:
- Regular full-time employees are specified as working 25 hours per week or higher and will receive the full supplement quantity.
- Regular part-time staff members are specified as working less than 25 hours each week and shall get half of the full-time supplement quantity.
- Employees holding Part-time As Needed positions are not qualified for this supplement.
